Kristin Fischer DVM,DACVO

Dr. Kristin Fischer was born and raised in Oak Ridge, TN, where the Atomic Bomb was developed and where the Oak Ridge Boys got their name. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2002 with a degree in Animal Science and the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She completed a rotating general internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO and then stayed on for one year as a staff emergency doctor. She then moved back to Tennessee. She is board certified in ophthalmology and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmlogists (www.acvo.org). Dr. Fischer has practiced as a full time ophthalmologist since 2012 and joined Animal Eye Care in 2016.

Dr. Fischer enjoys spending time with her family including her husband Scott, two children and two dogs. In her free time, she loves spending time on the water, riding horses and SEC football.
