Dr. Alexandra Ng was born and raised in Boston, MA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. She completed an equine ophthalmology fellowship at Equine Veterinary Vision in The Plains, VA prior to a specialty internship and residency at Auburn University. Dr. Ng’s passion for ophthalmology began in veterinary school. After shifting from a large animal focus, ophthalmology offered the opportunity to work with animals of all sizes and species while combining both surgery and medicine. Her special interests include corneal and cataract surgeries and equine ophthalmology. Outside of work, Dr. Ng enjoys horseback riding, outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking), and exploring with her husky, Luna.
