We prefer that referral forms be completed prior to the appointment. For your convenience we also have a PDF version that can be completed, printed, and either emailed, faxed, or send with the patient. Brad Nadelstein, DVM,DACVO
Dr. Brad Nadelstein graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After participating in a one-year rotating internship at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he returned to North Carolina State and completed his residency training in ophthalmology. Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists Dr. English started Animal Eye Care in 1989. He received undergraduate and DVM degrees from the University of Illinois and did his ophthalmology residency training and received a PhD in Immunology from NCSU.

Dr. Fisher has been with the Animal Eye Care group since 2008. She received her bachelor's degree in marine biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2005 before earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from NC State University in 2012. Dr. Rodriguez joined the AEC in 2020 as a member of our team in the Cary office. Dr. Rodriguez obtained her DVM from the University of Missouri, gained experience in internships in Indianapolis and Long Island, and completed an ophthalmology residency and master's degree at Purdue University. She is excited to start her career in ophthalmology with Animal Eye Care.

Barrett W. Gift, DVM,DACVO
Dr. Gift earned his veterinary degree from North Carolina State University and joined our team in 1998 to complete his residency. After several years of practicing in North Carolina, he and his family returned to Virginia in 2024. Dr. Gift is now embarking on a fellowship in retinal reattachment surgery. His previous clinical research has been dedicated to enhancing clarity of vision following cataract surgery.
